VINYASA WORKSHOP w/Becky Vollmer

Join Becky Vollmer, E-RYT 200/RYT 500, for an interactive workshop that explores the effortless and beautiful flow between the series of postures known collectively as “a vinyasa”: plank, chaturanga, upward-facing dog and down-ward-facing dog. In this class, we’ll break down each element of the combination — looking specifically at what should be happening in the hips, shoulders, hands and feet — in a way that uses the breath to power fluid movement. And we’ll incorporate what we’ve learned in a flowing practice that includes pranayama, a series of integrating postures and, of course, a well-deserved rest. Open-level class appropriate for all, from beginners to more advanced practitioners looking to refine their practice.

The Yoga of Forgiveness Project is a forty day process that combines yoga and meditation practices, personal growth coaching, psychology, and Eastern and Western spirituality to facilitate the shift to freedom through release, forgiveness, healing and renewal. Please join us on this journey to awaken the depth and consciousness of the heart on this journey of self-discovery.

During this process, we will discuss and experience intentionally designed practices and techniques to catalyze, support, and enhance the healing process including:

MEDITATIONS . PRANAYAMA . MANTRA . ASANA to:
-release anger and resentment
-release resistance
-release fear
-release blame
-release shame and unworthiness
-align with clarity
-align with truth
-align with peace
-align with compassion and understanding

WRITING ASSIGNMENTS . INTERACTIVE EXERCISES . INDIVIDUAL SHARING . GROUP DISCUSSION . ART PROJECTS to:
-examine the link between forgiveness, presence and happiness

THE YOGA of FORGIVENESS PROJECT DETAILS.
*Complete reading, reflection and/or writing assignments daily
*Attend Yoga of Forgiveness classes with Danielle once per week (Sunday afternoon). There will be 6 total classes. Practices will be recorded and made available to you via email in the event you are unable to attend class.
*Attend individual and group discussion once per week. There will be 6 total sessions.
*Take part in private Facebook group to create a community for daily connection, sharing, support and healing

The Yoga of Forgiveness . 40 Day Project is a life altering experience in self-love and self-healing. It transforms crippling stories of pain, hurt and victimization into powerful stories of accountability, compassion, growth and freedom.
