YOGA FOR LIFE - 30 DAY YOGA CHALLENGE
ONLY $35 (plus tax)

This year, our Take Off Your Shoes and Bend Over challenge has a new theme: YOGA FOR LIFE. We want to grow the understanding of yoga as a tool to catalyze awareness, growth, transformation, appreciation, and on and off the mat. We want to support you in applying the benefits of your practice to your everyday life.
*Complete 30 classes in 31 days at the studio.
*Complete the Daily Pose and Reflection Home Practice Assignment posted on the D's Yoga Home Facebook page every day in January.
*Take a picture of yourself in the Daily Pose and post your answer to the question and how you can apply your learnings to your life in the private Yoga For Life Facebook group for challenge participants.
The heart of the challenge is your commitment to complete 30 classes in 31 days and the promise to show up for yourself. In addition to taking class at the studio, this year we added on a a daily home practice assignment to help you develop your practice outside of the studio and to learn to apply the teaching directly to your daily life.
Each day for the month of January, A POSE AND REFLECTION QUESTION will be posted on the D's YOGA HOME FACEBOOK PAGE. It is your responsibility to practice this pose at home, reflect upon the question, take a picture of yourself in the daily pose, and post your photo and your answer to the question and your learnings to our private Yoga For Life Facebook group page. Challenge participants will be added to the group upon completion of online registration.
This Challenge is for anyone looking to inspire and expand their existing yoga practice or to create an amazing new one. Experience the powerful physical, mental and emotional benefits of practicing yoga daily. You will develop yourself, cultivate deeper levels of awareness, create positive new habits, experience the potential for change and growth inside and out, change your mind, transform your body and your life and be nourished by the support of a warm, loving community breathing, practicing and living yoga together.
*Go to www.dyogahome.com. Click on Schedule. Click on Sign Up For Class. Select the Online Store tab in Mindbody. Select 'classes' from the first drop down menu. Select 'Yoga for Life' from the second drop down menu.
*Email email@example.com to complete registration process.
*Complete 30 classes in 31 days (January 1-31, 2014), and pose of the day home practice, picture and learnings for 30 days.
*If you are unable to complete a class at D's Yoga, you may provide documentation of class attended elsewhere, or documentation of your home practice.
*If you want to participate in the 30 Day Challenge, any class card series, or membership package may be frozen until the challenge is completed.
COMPLETE THE CHALLENGE AND WIN:
*Students that complete the full challenge will be entered into a raffle to win a YEAR OF FREE YOGA!
*Students that complete 25 classes in 31 days, and pose of the day home practice, picture and learnings for 30 days will be entered into a raffle to win 3 MONTHS OF FREE YOGA.
HEADSTAND WORKSHOP with Becky Vollmer

Join Becky Vollmer, RYT, for an interactive workshop that will literally turn your world upside down! In this session, we’ll explore one of our favorite inversions — salamba sirsasana. We’ll start by warm-ing the major joints and muscles needed for a stable headstand, and then ease step-by-step into the pose. We’ll then incorporate what we’ve learned in a flow-ing practice that includes pranayama, a series of inte-grating postures and, of course, hard-earned rest. Open-level workshop is appropriate for all levels, from those just working toward the pose to more advanced practitioners who want to add fun and chal-lenging variations. (Note: Headstand practice is not recom-mended for those with neck issues, high blood pressure or glaucoma.)
